Doggie Playgroups

Our Doggie Playgroups began back in 2006 as a means to help the dogs and puppies that came to Four Your Paws Only become more social with other dogs and people. As it grew in popularity, we began to notice how well the dogs would behave when "shopping" in FYPO with their parents. Many owners noticed a big change in the way that their dogs behaved in public and when friends came to visit. When we expanded our store in 2009, we added a private room specifically designated to our playgroups called The Puppy Playroom.

Today our groups have expanded and we now offer six playgroups for dogs and puppies to enjoy on both Saturdays and Sundays for your convenience. These dogs & pups will experience a lot of socialization with people and other dogs. It is also a great way for them to burn off some energy and play with their doggie friends.

Our playgroups run every Saturday and Sunday morning and are offered at no charge as a complimentary service to our community. Our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to monitor each group and answer any questions you may have regarding behavior, training, housebreaking, nutrition, chewing, etc.

All dogs & puppies must be up to date on vaccinations and on a leash. Young puppies must be at least 14 weeks of age and have had two sets of puppy shots.

All dogs & their owners participate in playgroup at their own risk. By participating in our playgroups, it will be assumed that you acknowledge, understand and accept any and all risk. Please see the rules and restrictions below.

10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Tiny Tots, Small Dog & Puppy Playgroup
This playgroup is for toy and smaller breed type dogs and puppies up to 25lbs.

11a.m. - 12p.m. - Medium Dog & Puppy Playgroup
This playgroup is for dogs and puppies between 26lbs.- 50lbs. Ideal for puppies who outgrow the first playgroup or for medium sized dogs.

12p.m. - 1p.m. - Large Dog & Puppy Playgroup
This playgroup is for dogs and puppies between 51lbs. & up. Ideal for puppies who outgrow the first two playgroups or for larger sized dogs.

Playgroup rules:
Our Playgroups are complimentary, but there are rules that must be followed.

• All dogs & their owners participate in playgroup at their own risk. By participating in our playgroups, it will be assumed that you acknowledge, understand and accept any and all risk.
• All puppies must be at least 14 weeks of age and have had two sets of puppy shots.
• All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations
• All dogs must always be on a leash.
• All dogs & puppies can attend one playgroup only per day.
• Each playgroup is based on your dog or puppies’ weight. We have a scale available to use for you convenience.
• For safety reasons, no aggressive dogs please.
• Only one person in the playroom at a time, per dog.
• For safety reasons, no children allowed in the playroom while playgroup is going on.
• Playgroups will be canceled if we have an event at the store.
• FYPO has the right to ask your dog to leave if we feel your dog is too over stimulated or stressed.
• FYPO has the right to ask your dog to leave if we feel your dog is a safety concern to other dogs and/or owners

Due to popular demand, we now offer more playgroups on Sundays to accommodate the needs of our customers. Please be sure to check which size group is right for your dog or pup. All of the same Saturday Playgroup Rules & Restrictions apply.
